FreeTranslation.com 'is an easy-to-use site for rapid translations where you can get the gist of foreign language text and web pages.' They translate a variety of languages including German, French, Norwegian and Italian. Definately worth a look.

Logos.it is a freely-accessible database, compiled without any form of public contribution. It is growing constantly because it's updated and corrected on line by their network of professional translators. The dictionary currently has 7.580.560 entries (total for all languages), and features more than 100 different languages! A very comprehensive tool, though the website isn't that pretty to look at. .

This site is basically a pretty neat dictionary for lots of different languages, including German, French, Spanish, Portugese etc. Simply type in the word you require the translation for, either from 'English to' or 'to English' etc. Very useful, though the site isn't presented as well as it could be..
