FreeWebSiteTemplates offer free templates for webmasters to download and use on their site for free. Unfortunately, this site only offers 3 different templates at the moment, which isnt much at all. The quality of the templates is also pretty poor compared with some of the better ones out there. All FreeWebsiteTemplates ask of you, is for you to post a link to their site if you choose to use one of their layouts. Personally....I wouldnt use one of their layouts...but we are all different arent we!?!.

The Free Web Templates site is much, much better than most other free template services. This site divides the templates into catagories meaning that you can easily find and view the templates that are most likely to appeal to you and your visitors. Among the catagories are 'Business Templates', 'Gamer Templates', 'Fansite Templates', 'Holiday Templates' and more! Free Web Templates also display small preview sized images of all the free layouts, which saves you have to click on each one. On average, the quality of all the templates is pretty good for a free service, making this site well worth checking out!.

These templates are meant to be straight forward, enabling easy layout customization. The images are in jpg format, and are optimized for minimum file sizes. PlanetPlexus offer a small range of pretty basic templates that you can use for free. The colours of the templates are all a little drab and boring, so dont expect anything too exciting, however for a first webpage, I guess a couple of the layouts would be ok..
