	As you can probably tell, this site doesnt have the most descriptive name on the net, however rest assured that this site also offers a free counter/tracker for your site. Its pretty customisable too, you can choose the background, digit colors, digit font face and size of your counter. You can also analyze and track the traffic through the online graphical analysis charting tool. To hide the counter however, you do have to pay a small fee. .

	The free service that HitBox offer is an effective way of tracking hits, however you do have to display a reasonably large graphic on each page you want tracked. Its not all bad though, as HitBox offers a far wider range of tracking options than many other hit counters. You can login to a special area to view tracking options such as Last Referer, Page Views, Unique Impressions, Browsers used..and much, much more..

	Site Meter is another impressive hit counter, which is definately one of the better ones. This counter focuses on measuring the number of sites visitors, rather than just page views. The good thing about this Hit Counter/Tracker is that you can change the graphic appearance of the counter if you desire, this means you can easily select the counter suitable for your site layout. 	1Tracking doesnt have the best website in the world...and its certainly not the best service in the world, however it does what you ask of it, and thats the main thing. It supports stats in Stats in 6 languages (English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Romanian), you can view Hits per day, month, week, year and you can easily compare and analyze the information given from the tracker with graphical reports and statistics. On top of this, its easy to install and setup, making this a simple..yet effective tracker. .

	LinkCounter not only allows you to track allows you to track your incoming traffic, it also allows you to track outgoing traffic too!! Also, unlike many hit counters, LinkCounter also offer an email service which sends all your latest websites stats directly to your inbox!.

	After registering at Website Traffic Report you get mailed a short block of HTML (2 lines) which you can simply insert into your pages. From then on in, you can have either your traffic reports emailed to you, or you can login to their website to access the stats online. 	Nedstat is another popular counter, which I myself have used on a few of my websites. You do have to display a small square graphic on the page that you want monitored, however it is worth it as Nedstat displays a wealth of useful information such as browser types, last referer etc. .

Its popular mainly due to its ease of use with no fancy server-side scripts to install or server log files to read. 	SlyGuy.com offer a pretty basic counter for your website, though it is extremely easy to install with just a couple of lines of HTML to paste into your page. The basic nature of the tracking, is helped slightly with the choice of 5 different counter graphics, though they do not offer as many option as say HitBox or TheCounter. You are not permitted to hide the counter..
