Javascript.com calls itself the 'definitive Javascript Resource'. Unfortunately...it isn't. There really isn't that much content included on the site. Javascript.com does include a Javascript newsletter that you can signup to, and they also offer a few free samples of javascript for you to use. Certainly not the best site out there though..

JavaScript World offers articles, forums and free javascript samples to download and use for free on your website. The site is nicely presented, and easy to navigate..not the best site out there, but you may find a few little gems not seen elsewhere..

JavaScript Guide is a free guide on everything you could possibly want to know about Javascript. Some of the terms are a little out of date, but this is still a useful resource. The site is certainly a little amateur looking, and there are also a few dead links. Worth a look though..

JavaScript Search, is your source for hundreds of free JavaScripts and JavaScript related information. The site contains tutorials, FAQ's, articles, and many other resources, so it's well worth a look. The scripts are reasonably easy to find, and the site is pretty easy to navigate too. .

'Unlike other other JavaScript pages that try to junk their examples full of useless code, we prefer to make our codes as small as possible. This makes the code easier to manipulate and learn from.' Well, thats what this site states on their frontpage, but unfortunately, what they don't mention is that they seem to add as small as possible too! Still, what they have on the site is worth a look..

This is a very useful site, as it is a glossary of Javascript terms which you will probably find useful if you are just learning the language. The site doesn't really offer much more than that unfortunately, but the glossary is worth bookmarking alone..

CoolNerds.com features a pretty simple section dedicated entirely to Javascript. The site features a variety of free example scripts which you can play around with to your hearts desire. They also feature a quick reference page where you can look up key Javascript terms..

Webreference.com features an entire section dedicated to various Javascript resources. Through using this site, you can learn a variety of techniques, such as how to embed and use Flash sound objects, with native JavaScript. Overall, theres plenty to read through on here, and it's well worth checking out..
