Well if a site could win an award for boasting..then 012Guestbook.com would win, because they clearly state that '012 Guestbook is the best guestbook service on the web'. I hate to burst the bubble...but it isnt...it is very good though. Features wise you get a Profanity Filter, Background Uploader, Email Notification and more. It is also easy to install and maintain. This is certainly a good service, though the ego's of the owners certainly need knocking down a peg or two!

Admo is a pretty simple guestbook service, however simple doesnt always mean bad! This is an ad supported service, as many of the free services are. You can customise certain aspects of the design to suit the layout of your website..

Dreambook are another website offering a free guestbook facility. Unlike many however, Dreambook gives you direct access to the HTML code which means that it is fully customisable. If it's simplicity that your after, you will find it here. If the website for the guestbook doesn't put you off (It's a horrible colour!), then you really should check out the simple guestbook it features. It's certainly not very nice to look at, but it's very FAST, which will encourage more visitors to sign...people don't like hanging around waiting for things to load these days..
