	1Tracking doesnt have the best website in the world...and its certainly not the best service in the world, however it does what you ask of it, and thats the main thing. It supports stats in Stats in 6 languages (English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Romanian), you can view Hits per day, month, week, year and you can easily compare and analyze the information given from the tracker with graphical reports and statistics. On top of this, its easy to install and setup, making this a simple..yet effective tracker. .

	FreeCounter.nu is a fast and reliable alternative to some of the larger company trackers. This tracker, unlike many others of its kind, doesnt require you to display any advertisements, or graphics of any kind. Overall, this is a simple and reliable text-like counter, and one of the very best to boot. .

	By adding just a few lines of HTML code to your webpage, you can add a simple counter to your site from Pollit.com. The main selling point of this counter is that it comes with over 100 different styles, so that you can customise the counter to match the layout of your site. Other than that fact, the counter isnt anything to write home about, and offers only limited features. .

	The free service that HitMatic offer is somewhat limited as they also offer paying options, which obviously they would prefer you to use. The free service is 'recommended for personal homepages and low-budget sites. This service is free of charge for traffic below 25 000 hits per month, provided a small Hitmatic logo image (88 by 31 pixels) is displayed on each tracked page.' As you can see, this service isnt overly appealing, though it does let you view last referers etc. Still rather weak in comparison to the competition. .

	First of all JCount stands for Java Counter because the first version was written in Sun's Java programming language. The counter is certainly...urmm..different, because it looks like something out of Star Wars, as the 'full sized banner' shaped counter features the website hit numbers flying amongst the stars! I really, really, really wouldnt recommend using this at all, because it could probably do more harm than good!! .

	As you can probably tell, this site doesnt have the most descriptive name on the net, however rest assured that this site also offers a free counter/tracker for your site. Its pretty customisable too, you can choose the background, digit colors, digit font face and size of your counter. You can also analyze and track the traffic through the online graphical analysis charting tool. To hide the counter however, you do have to pay a small fee. .

	Nedstat is another popular counter, which I myself have used on a few of my websites. You do have to display a small square graphic on the page that you want monitored, however it is worth it as Nedstat displays a wealth of useful information such as browser types, last referer etc. .
